Holi 2026: Holi celebration has always been special in Bollywood. This festival of colors has also been shown very effectively in films. From Sholay to Kati Patang, Darr and Silsila, the scenes of Holi have beautifully presented love, sometimes excitement and sometimes emotional conflict on screen.

However, the celebration of Holi was not limited to films only. Even in real life, Bollywood has been celebrating this festival with full enthusiasm. There was a time when the most popular parties of Holi were organized by Raj Kapoor at RK Studios. Later, Holi at Amitabh Bachchan’s house and now Holi parties of Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi also became the center of special attraction.

Big personalities of the film industry were involved

RK Studio’s Holi parties are counted among the most memorable events of Bollywood. This celebration was not limited to only the Kapoor family, but big personalities from the entire film industry used to participate in it. Veteran celebrities like Shammi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Prem Nath, Sitara Devi, Nargis, Rajendra Kumar and Nirupa Roy were seen in it. Apart from this, Krishna Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Geeta Bali and Babita were also seen in many pictures and videos.

Ranbir Kapoor had shared memories

In November 2024, Ranbir Kapoor shared his childhood memories related to these Holi parties. He jokingly said that he was very young at that time and that environment was a bit “scary” for him. Ranbir told that all the people were painted in colors, wore black and other colored clothes and people were loaded in trucks. According to him, from the childhood point of view that experience seemed a bit scary, although for the adults it was a very memorable and enthusiastic celebration.
