New Delhi, March 4. Holi is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Modi and the Speaker of the Lok Sabha wished the countrymen a happy Holi. President Draupadi Murmu wrote on the social media platform, “My best wishes for Holi to all the countrymen. Vice President CP Radhakrishnan wrote on social media platform ‘X’, “Happy Holi! This beautiful festival celebrates the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring, which is a sign of new beginning, hope and enthusiasm of our civilization.” He further wrote that deeply rooted in our rich traditions, Holi reflects the brotherhood, mutual respect and shared happiness that strengthens the fabric of our society. May the colors of Holi fill every heart with happiness and new energy. May this festival inspire us to spread goodness and work together for a more inclusive, peaceful and developed India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on social media X, ‘Happy Holi to all the countrymen. May this festival full of colors and enthusiasm bring happiness to everyone. May the colors of happiness, prosperity and success be sprinkled in every life. He further said that this holy festival of Holi infuses new freshness in the atmosphere. The colors of happiness scattered all around fill everyone with enthusiasm and joy. Paying homage to the cultural tradition, PM Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashit, which describes the lotus blooming with the lovely spring breeze and the grandeur of the love festival. Sweet voices give the message of new awakening in life.
