Holi colors spread on CM Yogi Adityanath, he showed a surprising style by wearing black glasses, watch video

Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated the festival of Holi this time in a very unique and traditional way in his stronghold Gorakhpur. While common people have fun with colors, CM Yogi shared the happiness of Holi with religious customs, saints and general public. Along with this, a new style of his was also seen.

Worshiped in the temple and spent time in the cowshed.

CM Yogi reached Gorakhnath temple early in the morning. Here he performed puja as per the rituals. After this, spent some moments among the cows in the cowshed and served them. This is a part of their everyday life, but on the day of Holi it was made even more special. The atmosphere in the temple was filled with enthusiasm amidst the melodious tunes of bhajan-kirtan and phag songs.

Start of Holi by applying Tilak with the ashes of Sammat.

The festival of colors started by applying Tilak with the ashes of Holika Dahan i.e. the ashes of Sammat in Gorakhnath temple. Yogi Adityanath himself applied this tilak and started Holi along with other saints and head priest of the temple. During this, Phag songs echoed and an atmosphere of devotion prevailed in the temple premises.

Yogi seen in dark glasses

After the puja, CM Yogi reached among the saints and common people. People applied a lot of abir-gulal to Yogi, who was seen wearing dark glasses. They played Holi happily, drenched in colors. Abir kept flying in the temple amidst the singing of bhajans and Holi songs. Meanwhile, he wished everyone a very happy Holi.

Special message given to the public

While talking to ANI, CM Yogi while giving a message to the people of the state said that Holi is a festival of harmony and enthusiasm. He said, "Hearty congratulations to the entire state on this holy festival. Our generation is carrying forward this thousands of years old tradition with enthusiasm. Every section of the society is enjoying this festival. If there is any discord, end it and create a harmonious society. Today there is peace, harmony and security in the state, due to which the new India is moving towards a developed India."
