Holi Special Trains: Six special trains will run via Lucknow from today, many additional services on these routes

Lucknow, Read In view of the increasing crowd in trains on Holi, the Railway Administration has announced to run six special trains via Lucknow. These trains will be operated in different ways from March 2.

Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari of Northern Railway Lucknow Division said that train number 04616 Firozpur-Danapur Holi Special will leave from Firozpur at 12 noon on March 2 and 6. This train will reach Lucknow at 5:30 am via Moga, Ludhiana, Ambala, Saharanpur, Moradabad and Bareilly. From here it will reach Danapur at 5:30 pm via Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Buxar and Arrah. In return, 04615 Danapur – Firozpur special train will depart from Danapur at 9:10 pm on March 3 and 7 and reach Lucknow at 8:15 am. From here it will reach Firozpur at 11:55 pm. Only AC coaches will be installed in this train.

Similarly, 04312 Yoganagari Rishikesh – Kolkata Holi Special will depart from Rishikesh at 10:20 pm on March 2 via Haridwar, Moradabad, Bareilly and Shahjahanpur and reach Alamnagar at 9 am and Uttaretiya at 9:48 am. From here, it will reach Kolkata at 8 am the next morning via Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Gaya, Dhanbad, Asansol and Bardhaman. In return, train number 04311 will leave Kolkata at 1:55 pm on March 4 and reach Rishikesh the next day. This train will have AC, sleeper and general coaches.

Operating period increased, stoppage changed

04212 Sultanpur-LTT Holi Special on Mumbai route will depart from Sultanpur at 4 am on March 2 and reach Lucknow at 6:20 am. The operating period of 03257 Danapur-Anand Vihar, 03258 Anand Vihar-Danapur, 05559 Raxaul-Udhna, 05560 Udhna-Raxaul and 03309/03310 Dhanbad-Delhi Holi Special trains has been extended. The stoppage time of 03257/03258 Danapur-Anand Vihar Special has been revised at Subedar and Govindpuri stations. The stoppage of trains at these stations will be for five minutes. Railway officials have appealed to the passengers to travel after knowing the timetable.
