Holidays of policemen in UP canceled till March 7, security arrangements tightened

Lucknow. The police administration has made the security arrangements more strict regarding the festival of Holi in Uttar Pradesh. Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Krishna has taken important steps to prevent any attempt to disturb law and order during the celebration of the festival of colors in the state. He has canceled the leave of policemen from March 1 to 7, so that no atmosphere of chaos or violence is created during this period.

Tight security arrangements on Holi

During festivals like Holi, some anti-social elements often try to create violence or tension in the environment. In view of this, DGP Rajiv Krishna has ordered to make strict security arrangements. He clearly said that during this period the policemen will not be able to avail of their holidays and they will have to perform their duties with full devotion and promptness.

Rajiv Krishna has directed that during this period only those policemen will be able to go on leave, for whom the approval of the competent authority is obtained. This will ensure that there is no lapse in security arrangements and no one tries to disturb law and order.

Will celebrate Holi collectively

DGP said that policemen will not be able to take leave till March 7, but after March 3, they will be able to celebrate the festival of Holi collectively. This arrangement has been made so that the security system is not affected due to policemen taking leave on any day. Celebrating Holi unitedly will not only increase unity among police personnel but will also send a positive message to the society.

Strict instructions given to police personnel

DGP Rajiv Krishna has given special instructions to all police commissioners, SSPs and other concerned officers to strictly implement this order. He also said that if any element comes forward during Holi which tries to spoil the atmosphere, then strict action should be taken against it. Every necessary step will be taken to ensure that no incident can weaken the law and order situation in the state.

Who will get leave?

Leave will be given only to those policemen whose leave is approved by the competent authority. With this system, it will be ensured that no anti-social element can carry out its activities without any fear. This preparation of the police department proves that the Uttar Pradesh government gives priority to its responsibilities even on an important occasion like Holi and is committed to maintaining peace and security in the state.
