Lucknow. On Friday, 6th December, the 63rd Home Guard Raising Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived as the chief guest in the program, while addressing the soldiers, praised the work of the Home Guard soldiers and also mentioned the uniform allowances, increased daily allowances received by the Home Guard soldiers during the tenure of the present government and insurance of Rs 35 to 40 lakhs for the dependents of the soldiers who died in an accident and announced to provide cashless treatment system like Ayushman Card. There is happiness visible among the home guards of the state due to the announcement made in the Chief Minister’s address.

Our Home Guard soldiers were looked down upon before 2017. He did not get respect. Our Home Guards are reducing alertness everywhere. They are serving in all departments and doing their duty impartially and courageously. All the soldiers are getting 100% duty and daily allowance has also increased. Along with this, along with inter-district duty allowance, training allowance is also being received.

Our Home Guard soldiers are on duty everywhere in the state. From relief disaster to divine disaster, they remain alert. Along with the police, they are providing emergency services on 112. In many departments, our soldiers are providing services ranging from traffic management to administrative work.
