Senior BJP leader in Kolkata Amit Shah, along with Suvendu Adhikari and Samik Bhattacharya, released the list of BJP’s allegations against ruling CM Mamata Banerjee-led TMC. During this, Amit Shah said, “As you all know, elections have been announced in Bengal. Under the leadership of our state president, BJP workers are contesting the elections with full confidence to form the government in Bengal. Our Leader of Opposition, Subhendu Adhikari has also toured the entire state and raised issues like chaos, anarchy, economic decline and infiltration.”

The Home Minister further said, “This election is important not only for Bengal, but for the entire country. The security of the country is linked to this election. After the formation of the BJP government in Assam, there has been a decline in infiltration. Now Bengal remains a main thoroughfare, and this issue is related to national security. Therefore, this election is extremely important for both Bengal and India.” On BJP’s list of allegations against TMC, he said, “BJP has decided to raise people’s issues against the TMC government and present them before the people of Bengal and the country. We will also present solutions and answers to these issues in the coming elections. This press conference is based on the document which we call the ‘charge sheet’ against the 15-year rule of the TMC government.”

Amit Shah said, “BJP may call it its charge sheet, but I believe it is the charge sheet of the people of Bengal against the government. The coming election is an election to choose between fear and trust. It is an election to choose whether Bengal chooses fear and anarchy or moves forward with trust and development.” He said, “In the last 15 years, the politics of fear, corruption and discrimination has dominated. Their politics is based on lies, fear and violence. Generally, governments are elected on the basis of public welfare work, but TMC’s politics is based on fear and threats. The BJP has been fighting against it since 2011, and I am confident that this time the people of Bengal will give the BJP a complete majority. This charge sheet is an example of the 15 years of misgovernance of the TMC government.” There is an accounting.”
