Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Himachal today, CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu may demand release of PM disaster package amount

Today Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a tour of Himachal Pradesh. Today on Saturday, he will arrive to attend the foundation day celebrations of Sashastra Seema Bal Training Center located in Kangra district. Amit Shah will attend this function as the chief guest. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will himself reach Sapdi to welcome the Home Minister. Strict security arrangements have been made for this visit of Amit Shah. Aerospace and all types of aerial activities have been stopped in the Volcano Sub Division today.

Due to this, all aerial activities including paragliding, drone flying, hot air ballooning will be banned in Jwalamukhi sub division today. Actually, this decision has been taken for VVIP security, public safety and maintaining law and order.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu can make this demand

If anyone violates these security arrangements, action will be taken against him under Section 188 of the IPC as well as other legal provisions. However, these orders will not apply to security agencies, management police and authorized monitoring agencies. During this function, on behalf of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, a demand can be made from the Home Minister for the special package announced by the PM. Today in this function, in front of Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu can demand a special package of Rs 1500 crore announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for disaster relief.

Disaster package amount has not been released yet

In fact, on September 9, the disaster package was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This announcement was made during the Dharamshala tour. But more than two and a half months have passed and this amount has not been released yet. Seven ministers were sent by the Center to different areas of the state to take stock of the disaster. A team of central officials has also come to Himachal twice to take stock of the disaster area, but till now this amount has not been released by the Centre. In such a situation, with Amit Shah’s visit today, Himachal is expected to get this amount. Due to this program being held in Sapdi area, traffic restrictions have also been imposed. Let us tell you that today from 11:15 am till the arrival of the chief guest at the venue of the program and from 2:00 pm till the end of the program, traffic will be completely closed on many routes.
