Homemade Ghee: When a box of pure ghee is opened, its aroma spreads. Good ghee is fragrant and granular. The taste of sweets and dishes made with pure ghee increases manifold. However, most people buy ghee from the market. Because they do not know that they can make granular ghee from milk cream at home. Also, some people make ghee at home but it is not as good as it should be.

 

Pure ghee is also expensive in the market. But if you make ghee at home, it will cost you a lot. For this you just have to collect the cream of the milk that you heat every day. After that, within a few days the container will be filled with enough ghee and it will be ready. Let us today tell you the step by step method of making fragrant and granular ghee at home.

How to make granulated ghee at home

 

1. First of all, collect the milk cream that comes home for 6 to 7 days in a steel container. – Cover the cream and keep it in the refrigerator so that it does not become stale.

2. After 7 days, take out the cream in a big vessel and add 3 to 4 spoons of curd or a little buttermilk to it, then leave the cream like this for 3-4 hours. In cold weather, rest the cream till evening.

 

3. Then blade the cream with the help of a blender. This will separate the white butter from the cream. Take out the prepared butter in a separate vessel and add water to it.

4. Mix the butter in water again with a spoon and discard the white water that comes out. – Now heat the remaining white butter in a pan on low flame.

 

5. After the butter melts, keep stirring it continuously on medium flame. Butter will start turning into ghee in 10 to 15 minutes. When the smell of ghee starts coming, turn off the gas and filter the prepared ghee through a sieve and fill it in a container.
