  • 1 cup roasted gram (peeled)
  • 1 cup desi jaggery (cut into pieces)
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • A little water (as needed)

  • When the jaggery melts completely, check the syrup. Take some cold water in a bowl and add a drop of jaggery in it. If it hardens and sets, the syrup is ready.
  • Now add roasted gram to the melted jaggery and mix well, so that the jaggery sticks well to each grain.
  • Grease a plate or tray with ghee. Now spread the prepared mixture on it and quickly roll it thinly with the help of a rolling pin. When it cools down slightly, cut it into desired shapes with a knife.
