Honda Activa Electric launched with replaceable battery

Business Business: Honda has finally launched the new Activa Electric. The company has named it Activa E. This is also the company's first electric two-wheeler in the Indian market. The company has launched it in two options. These include Standard and Sync Duo. However, the company has not announced the price yet. Prices will be announced on January 1. Booking will also start from this day. In this case, delivery will start in February 2025. Initially it will be sold in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Talking about the specifications of Activa E, it comes with a removable dual battery of 1.5 kWh capacity. Both the batteries are said to offer a range of 102 km on full charge. These batteries are called Honda Mobile Power Pack E and are developed and serviced by Honda Power Pack Energy India. The company says that it has already opened battery swapping stations in Bengaluru and Delhi. At the same time, these stations will soon be installed in Mumbai also. These batteries power a 6kW fixed magnet synchronous motor that produces 22Nm of peak torque. It includes three driving modes: Econ, Standard and Sport. Its maximum speed is 80 km/h. At the same time, the speed from 0 to 60 km/h can be achieved in 7.3 seconds.

Talking about the features of Activa E, it comes with connectivity with Honda RoadSync Duo smartphone app through which you can control many features. It has a 7 inch TFT screen. The screen supports navigation. Control is carried out using a toggle switch on the steering wheel. It also has day and night modes. It also integrates key features of Honda H-Smart including Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock and Smart Start.
