Delhi Delhi. Honda Cars India has launched the Elevate Black Edition, the company's first black edition model in India. Based on the premium ZX trim, these new variants feature bold Crystal Black Pearl exteriors as well as refined design changes. The Black Edition manual variant is priced at Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom), while the CVT variant is available at Rs 16.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end Signature Black Edition is the most expensive in the range, priced at Rs 16.93 lakh (ex-showroom). Reservations for these variants have now started, with deliveries for the CVT variant starting in January, while deliveries for the manual version will start from February.
Honda Elevate Black Edition is powered by the 1.5-litre iVTEC petrol engine found in the City sedan. This engine produces 120bhp at 6,600rpm and 145Nm torque at 4,300rpm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual gearbox, which comes as standard across all trims, and a seven-speed CVT available on the V, VX and ZX variants. The Black Edition is available in four trims: SV, V, VX and ZX, which retain the same mechanical setup as the standard model. Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 15.31km/l for the manual version and 16.92km/l for the CVT variant.
Honda's Elevate Black Edition and Signature Black Edition models have special design changes that give them a unique look. The standout feature is the all-black exterior finish, paired with black alloy wheels and matching lug nuts. Chrome detailing on the upper grille and silver accents on the door trim, roof rails and skid plates further add to the bold look of the model. Additionally, each variant proudly displays its special edition status with “Black Edition” and “Signature Edition” badges on the front fender and tailgate.
The Honda Elevate offers a number of advanced features designed for both convenience and safety. Inside, it gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster and Honda Connect for better connectivity. The cabin also gets premium brown leatherette upholstery and soft-touch material on the dashboard and doors, adding a touch of luxury. For safety, the Elevate is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, hill start assist, emergency stop signal, a multi-angle rearview camera, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX rear seat anchors. Feature availability varies depending on the trim level selected.
