Honda Recall CBR650R: Honda CBR650R and CB1000 Hornet SP developed a fault, the company issued a recall.

Honda Recall CBR650R: Popular Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has issued a recall for select Honda CBR650R and CB1000 Hornet SP bikes. This recall campaign is being conducted as a precautionary measure in line with Honda’s customer-centric policy. Let us know in detail. Recall has been issued for both the bikes due to different reasons.

According to the recall announcement, some units of Honda CBR650R may have a short circuit problem in the wiring of the turn signal system. This problem may occur in CBR650R units manufactured between December 16, 2024 and May 4, 2025. During routine quality check, it was found that a wiring part of the turn signal system may have come in contact with a metal part.

Over time, vibration can cause a short circuit. In such a situation, some of the bike lights may not function properly or may turn off completely. Such results may be against the rules. If there is a problem with the turn signal and the rider is not aware of it, it can also cause trouble to other road users.

Honda CBR650R has a 649 cc 16 valve DOHC, inline 4, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 95 PS of power and 63 Nm of torque.
