Honor Magic V6 Unveiled with Premium Color Option
City, February 15: Honor is set to launch its latest foldable device, the Magic V6, and ahead of its official reveal, images have surfaced showcasing the phone. Shared by users on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, the photos feature Hong Kong actor and singer Nicholas Tse appearing to hold the sleek device during a commercial shoot, suggesting it is indeed the upcoming Honor Magic V6.
The images confirm that the Magic V6 retains Honor’s signature octagonal rear camera module and features visible antenna lines, indicating a metal construction. Notably, the device is expected to come in a striking red vegan leather finish, as hinted by a previous leak from Weibo tipster WhyLab.
In terms of specifications, the Magic V6 has received China’s 3C certification, boasting a substantial battery capacity of approximately 7,150mAh, potentially the largest for a foldable flagship. It is also rumored to support 120W fast charging.
Additional expected features include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 200-megapixel main camera with a large sensor, and a periscope telephoto lens. The device is anticipated to offer wireless charging, full waterproofing, and support for Beidou satellite communication.
Honor has a history of prioritizing thinness and weight in its foldable devices. The previous model, the Honor Magic V5, measured just 8.8mm when folded and weighed 219 grams while housing a 6,100mAh battery.
The official unveiling of the Honor Magic V6 is anticipated at the Mobile World Congress, scheduled to commence on March 5th.
