HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design hits global markets

Having previously covered the Chinese release of the HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design, we now bring you the latest on the matter, as Honor Devie Co. Ltd, or HONOR, have shipped the device for European audiences. Onwards from the month of February, they will be able to enjoy the Classic Porsche Design, with amazing features such as a 200MP ultra-sensitive periscope lens, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, AI Eagle Eye Camera, and so much more.
Hardware/Software Specifications
Featuring a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display, with an FHD+ (1280 x 2800 px) resolution, the device will support a 120Hz refresh rate with 5,000 nits peak local brightness and HONOR’s own NanoCrystal Shield protection. With a DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 4,320Hz PWM zero-dimming, and 1.07 billion colors, the device will surely be a treat to look at. Leading the charge will be a Snapdragon 8 Elite, configurable with up to 24GB of RAM and 1 TB storage.
Coupling this with the Adreno 830 GPU, along with the MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, we get a substantially powerful system. Now, adding the cream on top of everything are the plethora of AI features such as AI Translation, Documents and Notes, Interactive Themes, Smart Capsule, Magic Lock Screen, Anti-Fraud Firewall, Air Sliding Screen, and built-in Google Gemini Support. Going to the power side of things, a 5,850 mAh battery is in order, along with 100W fast charging and 80W wireless charging.
Camera Specifications
On the photography side, the RSR will feature the pioneering AI HONOR Image Engine, an industry first. It will allow for on-device plus cloud large model empowered imaging system. The back is adorned with a triple camera system, including a 50MP Super Dynamic Falcon Main Camera, a 50MP Wide Camera, and a 200MP Ultra-sensitive Telephoto Camera.
The company has also added a 1200-point LiDAR sensor which will allow the device to have an overall better video stabilization. The front camera has received similar treatment, with a 50MP wide-angle front camera with an aperture of f/2.0. A 3D depth camera has also been introduced to the setup allowing for even more impressive snaps.
Currently available in China, the 16GB + 512GB model was priced at 7,999 yuan, while the higher 24GB + 1TB model was sold for 8,999 yuan. Fans in Europe can expect the device to hit shelves in February with a starting price of €1,799 for the 16GB + 512GB trim. With the arrival of such powerhouses, HONOR will most probably have a very successful year ahead of them.
