HONOR had seen a 50% increase in global sales for December 2024, and it seems that they will be going strong into this year, as they have officially launched their flagship device: the HONOR Magic7 Pro. The Magic 6 Pro was beloved by consumers and was often used as the benchmark standard for device effective battery life. According to sourcesthe new HONOR Magic7 series details and specifications are something to marvel at.
HONOR Magic7 Pro – Specifications
Packing the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the processing power will be a sight to behold, be it in the computational or the graphics department. Follow that up with 12 GB of RAM and the specs are already a treat.
Upfront, HONOR has showcased a 6.8-inch 1280×2800 px LTPO AMOLED display, with a comforting 120Hz display and a screen brightness of 1,600 nits. Several “Eye-Comfort” features have also been revealed, including a 4320 Hz PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) dimming, hardware level low blue light tech, and the Natural Light HONOR AI Eye Comfort Display, which reduces eye strain and mimics natural light. The battery, on the other hand, will be a 5,270 mAh battery, which has decreased compared to the Magic 6 Pro which had 5,600 mAh.
However, this is compensated by the fact that the phone will support a faster 100W wired and wireless charging. That flagship will also be IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance.
Camera Specifications
Like the previous version, a triple-camera system is in order, along with lots of neat AI technology. The camera consists of a 50MP wide lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. All of these features will be further bolstered by HONOR proprietary AI Image Engine.
The brand’s Harcourt Portrait Mode also makes a comeback, promising to deliver studio-quality pictures and portraits. The new device also introduces three new photography features that will be software-based: AI Super Zoom, HD Super Burst, and AI Motion Sensing Capture. The first feature will allow the user to view details of natural landscape shots taken at 30x or more using generative AI. Meanwhile, the others will allow for the capture of high-speed movements or sequences in optimal clarity.
On the other hand, the HONOR Magic7 Lite will come packing with a 6.78-inch 1224×2700 px, 120Hz AMOLED, along with a Gen 1 Snapdragon 6. This device comes with 8 GB of RAM, along with a very generous 6.600 mAh battery with 66W charging. There will be a 108MP main camera, paired with a 5MP ultrawide, while the front will sport a 16MP selfie camera. All in all, both devices will see to it that HONOR will be a tough contender in the global market.
