Hormuz is burning again! 3rd ship attack in 24 hours, peace treaty in twenty left waters
Strait of Hormuz is burning again. Another ship attack within 24 hours. With this, a third ship was attacked in Hormuz. According to sources, the commercial vessel has been slightly damaged due to the attack. However, all the sailors of the ship are safe.
According to the British Maritime Agency, the merchant vessel was struck by an unidentified object while passing through Hormuz on Tuesday. This caused minor damage to the ship’s structure. However, no crew or sailors were harmed. Later the ship left for its next destination. But it is not yet known who carried out the attack. Iranian state television said the commercial vessel was carrying liquefied natural gas (LNG). But after ignoring the warning, the ship came under attack. However, Tehran has not directly claimed responsibility for the attack. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Majed Al-Ansari strongly condemned the attack. “This is an unacceptable attack on international maritime traffic and global energy security. Not only that, this attack A clear violation of international law. Tehran and Washington have been meeting several times to restore lasting peace in West Asia. However, due to continuous unrest in Hormuz, the peace agreement is still in limbo.
Note that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard launched a missile attack on two ships in Hormuz on Monday. In the MoU signed between Iran and the US with the aim of establishing peace in the Middle East, it was said that for the next 60 days, all merchant ships will be able to move freely in Hormuz. But even then the ships are repeatedly attacked by Hormuz.
