Hormuz will not open, war will not stop! Iran rejected America’s 45-day ‘peace proposal’, will there be devastation now?

All efforts to stop the fierce war between Iran and America seem to be failing. The eyes of the world were fixed on the draft resolution, which called for a 45-day ceasefire and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. But latest reports have dashed these hopes. According to officials in West Asia, Iran has completely rejected the terms of this temporary ceasefire.

Efforts of mediators failed, Iran made a backlash

Countries like Egypt, Pakistan and Turkey are continuously mediating to stop this conflict. These countries together prepared a proposal, the objective of which was to give both the countries 45 days to negotiate a permanent peace. The proposal was sent to Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US envoy Steve Witkoff late Sunday night. However, according to Reuters report, Iran has clearly stated that it does not trust America’s intentions and is not in favor of any temporary agreement.

What were those conditions of the ceasefire?

This peace formula was divided into two phases. The first phase was to keep arms quiet for 45 days, so that the way for a permanent agreement could be cleared. In the second phase, a final agreement was to be reached to end the war completely. The most important condition in this proposal was to open the Strait of Hormuz and dispose of Iran’s enriched uranium. But Iran says it will not back down until it receives compensation for its financial losses from the war and a firm guarantee that future attacks will not occur.

Agreement still far away, Trump’s anger increased

It now seems impossible to reach an agreement between Iran and America. The biggest reason for this is that neither of them is ready to bow down. Till the 24th day of the war, President Donald Trump was looking a little soft, but now his attitude has again become very aggressive. Trump has openly threatened to bomb Iran’s power plants and major bridges this week. On the other hand, Iran is also not ready to step back and has said that it is waiting for America’s ground attack.
