A terrible road accident has occurred in Katihar district of Bihar. In this massive collision between a bus and a pickup van, 10 people have died, while 18 people have been injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. The local administration has started investigation into this accident.
According to the news, the accident took place near Mushari Chowk near Bargada Chowk on NH-31. The accident was so severe that four people riding on two motorcycles died on the spot.
It is being told that the bus was going from Poo to Bhagalpur and the driver of the bus was in an intoxicated state. He had already hit one or two places on the way. As soon as the bus reached Datpur Mushari Chowk, it had a head-on collision with a pickup van coming from the front. The collision was so severe that two bikes passing nearby also got hit by this accident.

After the collision, there was chaos in the entire area. Local villagers and police immediately started relief work and took the injured to the hospital. As soon as the news of the accident spread, people were shocked.
What did the police say?
Katihar Police said that on Saturday evening there was a fatal collision between a bus and a pickup van near Gedabari of Kodha police station area. So far 10 people have died in this accident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police immediately reached the spot and started relief work. The people injured in the accident are being admitted to nearby hospitals for better treatment after first aid.
At present, law and order is completely under control at the spot and traffic is being restored smoothly. Police is busy in further action.

According to local people, the bus first hit two motorcycles and then hit the pickup as well. There was an outcry on the spot after the bus collision. Local people immediately got involved in rescue operations and the injured were immediately admitted to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
