The Indian team, a strong contender for the title, will play its first match against South Africa in the Super-8. These two teams, finalists of the last edition, will face each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After this the Indian team will face Zimbabwe. This match will be played on 26th February at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai.

The Indian team will have to be cautious considering the way Zimbabwe has defeated Sri Lanka after surprising Australia in this tournament. Although Team India’s record against Zimbabwe is good, one should not make the mistake of taking it lightly in the T20 World Cup.
