What was the India NCAP score of the Tata Punch facelift?

The Tata Punch Facelift has excelled in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) test. The car scored 30.58 points out of 32 in the adult passenger crash test, earning it a 5-star safety rating.

The Punch Facelift scored 14.71 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. The test found good head and neck protection for the driver and front passenger, while chest protection was found to be adequate.

The Tata Punch Facelift scored 15.87 out of 16 in the Side Movable Deformable Barrier test. In the side impact test, the vehicle provided excellent protection for the head, abdomen and pelvis, while the driver’s chest was rated as adequate. Both were placed in rear-facing child seats, and these seats were installed via the ISOFIX system. Both the dummies scored 8 out of 8 in the frontal impact test and a perfect 4 out of 8 in the side impact test.

The Punch Facelift also scored 12 out of 12 in the CRS (Child Restraint System) installation test, which emphasizes proper child seat installation. In addition, the vehicle scored 9 out of 13 points in Vehicle Assessment.
