How safe is Vande Bharat train? Got damaged due to collision with cattle, photos viral

Vande Bharat Train News: A major train accident was averted on Friday evening in Atria town of Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. Vande Bharat Express going from Daliganj (Gomtinagar) to Saharanpur collided with a cattle near Neelgaon railway crossing number 39-C in Atria area. The incident took place at 5 pm. The cattle were seriously injured in the collision. At the same time, the front part of Vande Bharat Express suffered heavy damage. After the accident, the train had to stop for 20 minutes at Atria station. This created a situation of panic among the passengers for some time. At the same time, users on social media have again started raising questions regarding the safety of the train. After sharing a photo of the damaged part of the train, a user wrote that the bonnet of a Maruti car is stronger than this.

Atria Station Master Sanjay Singh said that the front part of the train was damaged due to the collision with the cattle. The damaged area was secured by temporarily tying it. After this the train was sent towards the destination. It is fortunate that no passenger was injured in the accident. Railway administration is investigating the matter.

Operations have resumed from December 9th

Vande Bharat Express running between Lucknow and Saharanpur has started operating daily from 9th December. The train will run on all days of the week except Monday. Railways has opened ticket booking. Currently 420 seats are available. The fare for chair car from Lucknow to Sitapur is fixed at Rs 495 and for executive class at Rs 930. The train will complete this journey of 80 km in 1 hour 5 minutes.

Final testing of Vande Bharat sleeper train completed

Indian Railways has successfully completed the final phase high-speed trials of the indigenously designed Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. In this regard, Railway Ministry officials said that this test was conducted under the supervision of the Commissioner of Railway Safety and was conducted on the Kota-Nagda section. There the train achieved a maximum speed of 180 kilometers per hour. Vande Bharat Sleeper train has missed the scheduled time several times in the past. In mid-November, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that this train would be started in December. Vaishnav had shared a video of the safety test on his social media handle X on December 30. In this video, the glasses filled with water remained stable despite the high speed of the train.
