Gram flour- 1 cup
Curd- 1/2 cup
Water- 1/2 cup
Onion- 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Green chilli – 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Ginger- 1/2 inch (grated)
Turmeric powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetida- 1/4 teaspoon
Soda- 1/2 teaspoon
salt as per taste
oil for frying

How to make gram flour appe
To make gram flour appe, first take gram flour in a big bowl.
Then add curd, water, finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chillies and crushed ginger or ginger paste.
After this add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, asafoetida. Also add salt as per taste.
Now mix all these things well. Keep in mind that the batter should neither be too thick nor too thin.
After this, heat an appe pan on medium gas. Then pour a little oil into each hole.
Now spoon the batter into the holes of the pan and spread it a little.
Then fry the appe from one side until it turns golden brown. After this, turn it and cook it from the other side.
