Ingredients to make Gulab Jamun Churros

For flour-

  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp milk powder
  • a pinch of saffron
  • a pinch of cardamom powder

For syrup-

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • a pinch of saffron
  • a pinch of cardamom powder

For Rabdi-

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Saffron
  • cardamom powder

How to make Gulab Jamun Churros

to make dough

  1. First of all you have to heat a pan. Add milk to it and cook.
  2. Add butter, sugar, cardamom powder and saffron in milk.
  3. After this add flour and milk powder and mix.
  4. After this, turn off the gas and make soft dough and leave it to rest.

to make syrup

For this, boil water and sugar in a vessel. Add saffron and cardamom in it. Cook the syrup.

Method of making Rabdi

Gulab jamun churros are served with rabri dip. To make Rabdi, mix milk, butter, cardamom powder, saffron, milk powder and condensed milk in a pan. Now this mixture has to be cooked continuously for 3 to 4 minutes.

Steps to make Churros

  • Now you have to heat oil in a pan. Keep in mind that the oil should not be too hot.
  • To shape the churros, you have to take a piping bag. Also put a star shaped nozzle in it.
  • Now put the churros dough in a piping bag and drop a little directly into the oil. Their size is like crisps. It is ideal for the churros to be as long as the little finger of the hand. After this, fry all the churros like gulab jamun and after cooking, dip them in sugar syrup.
  • Now take them out in a plate and serve with chilled rabri dip.
