- 200 grams paneer (cut into cubes)
- 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 2 medium sized onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (grind and puree)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp cream (optional)
- salt as per taste

Making Matar Paneer curry is very easy. To prepare this, first heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add finely chopped onions and fry until golden. Now add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell goes away.
After this, add tomato puree and cook on medium flame until the masala starts releasing oil. Now add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder to it and stir well. When the masala is roasted well, add green peas to it and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Now add a cup of water, cover and let the peas cook until they become soft. After this add the cheese pieces and mix gently so that the cheese does not break. Cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
