Oats- 1 cup
Onion- 1 cup (finely chopped)
Peas- 1/2 cup
Carrot- 1/4 cup (grated)
Green chilli- 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger- 1 inch (grated)
Cumin- 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard – 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves- 2-3
Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Salt as per taste
lemon juice
Green coriander leaves (for garnish)
oil as required

How to make Oats Poha

To make oats poha, first soak the oats in clean water for 15-20 minutes. So that it becomes soft.
On the other hand, finely chop onion, peas, carrot, green chilli and ginger.
After this, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds in it. After this let them crackle well.
When it starts crackling, mix curry leaves in it. Then add chopped onion, peas, carrots, green chillies and ginger to the pan and fry until golden.
Then when the vegetables are fried, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder to it. Also add salt and mix well.
After this, squeeze out the water from the soaked oats and put it in the pan and mix.
Now cover a pan with a lid and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
However, keep stirring occasionally. So that it does not get hidden in the pan.
After this, turn off the gas and add finely chopped coriander leaves over it and mix.
Now your hot Poha Oats is ready. Squeeze lemon juice over it and serve hot.
