Vegetables (potato, carrot, cauliflower, peas, capsicum)
1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 tomato (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon butter
oil as required
salt as required
Green Coriander (for garnishing)
Lemon – as per taste
method of making
To make Pav Bhaji, first wash all the vegetables and cut them into small pieces.
After this, add chopped vegetables, a little salt and water in a cooker and cook for 2-3 whistles.
Then heat butter and oil in a pan. Fry chopped onion in it until it turns golden. After this add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a while.
Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and garam masala and mix well.
Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes become soft.
After this, put the boiled vegetables in the pan and mix well.
Now add pav bhaji masala and add salt as per taste. Then mix it once.
After this, mash the vegetables with the help of a pestle or spoon.
Garnish the pav bhaji by adding green coriander and lemon juice.
