How to make Peanut Chutney

Peanut chutney recipe:Chutney, which enhances the taste and appetite of food, is made in many ways in Indian kitchen. Indian people mostly serve coriander-mint or tamarind chutney with food. But the taste of peanut chutney available in winter is different and tasty from all other chutneys. In homes, peanuts are often used in poha or barley to enhance the taste. But its chutney can also enhance the taste of your dosa to roti and rice. The specialty of this chutney is that it is quick to prepare and is also very tasty in taste.

Ingredients for making peanut chutney

-1/2 cup peanuts

-2-3 green chillies

-1/2 ginger

-1 teaspoon lemon juice

-Salt as per taste

-1 teaspoon cumin

-2-3 teaspoon oil

-1/2 cup mint leaves

How to make peanut chutney

To make peanut chutney, first wash the mint leaves thoroughly, soak them in water and keep them aside. After this, add one spoon oil in a pan, fry 2-3 green chillies in it and keep it in a separate vessel. After this, again add 2 spoons of oil in the pan and fry the peanuts well. Now add one spoon cumin seeds in the pan and fry it for 30 seconds. Along with all these things, put ginger and salt in a jar and grind them. Squeeze lemon juice over this chutney paste. Your tasty peanut chutney is ready. You can serve this chutney with dosa or roti.

Keep these tips in mind

-Always fry peanuts on low flame. Roasting peanuts on high flame will burn them. Due to which the taste of chutney will get spoiled.

-The taste of peanut chutney starts changing within 2-3 hours of making it. Therefore, always use cold, boiled or filtered water to make it.
