  • 4 rotis or parathas
  • 1 cup cabbage (finely chopped)
  • 1 capsicum (chopped)
  • 1 carrot (grated)
  • 1 onion (cut into thin slices)
  • 1 boiled potato (mashed)
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp green chutney
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • a little coriander

How to make Veg Frankie Roll

Veg Frankie Roll is a tasty street food recipe. To prepare this, first heat some oil in a pan. Add chopped onion to it and fry it until it becomes light golden. After this, add capsicum, carrot and cabbage and cook lightly for 2-3 minutes.

Now add boiled potatoes to it and mix well. After this add red chilli powder, salt, garam masala and chaat masala and mix the vegetables well. Finally add green coriander and turn off the gas. Tasty stuffing for your frankie is ready.

Now heat the pan and apply a little butter on the rotis and fry them. After this, spread some tomato sauce and green chutney on the roti. Now place the prepared vegetable stuffing in the middle of the roti. Sprinkle onion slices and some chaat masala on top. After this, wrap the roti tightly like a roll.

If you want to make Frankie more delicious, you can also add paneer or cheese to it. Adding a little mayonnaise further enhances its taste. Apart from this, by wrapping the roll in foil paper and serving it, it will look completely street food style.
