How to Open the Vault in Liberty Falls (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6)
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombiesplayers can unlock a hidden vault in Liberty Falls—a location filled with mystery, zombies, and valuable loot. The Liberty Falls vault, located inside the Savings & Loan building, requires players to gather a specific three-part code scattered around the map. Here’s a step-by-step guide to finding the code and unlocking the vault for some rewarding in-game treasure.
1. Finding the Vault Location
The Liberty Falls vault can be found in the Savings & Loan building, which sits near the center of the map. To locate it, navigate through a few rooms until you see a large steel vault door. To enter the vault, you’ll need a six-digit code that can only be assembled by finding three specific notes hidden around Liberty Falls. Each note provides a unique two-digit segment of the complete code, which changes with every game session, so players must gather the pieces each time they want to access the vault.
2. Locating the Code Pieces
The three sticky notes needed for the vault code are distributed across three specific locations in Liberty Falls. Here’s where to find them:
- Bowling Alley (Fuller’s Liberty Lanes): Head to the bowling alley’s snack bar counter. On this counter, you’ll see a bucket of beer bottles. Interact with or shoot this bucket to reveal a sticky note beneath it containing the first two digits of the vault code.
- Comic Book Store (Ollie’s Comics): The second code segment can be found in Ollie’s Comics. Look behind the counter in the store, specifically near a statue known as the “Aetherella.” Crouch down to check under the counter, where the second sticky note with two more code digits is located.
- The Bank: The final piece of the code is in the Savings & Loan bank itself. When you’re facing the vault door, turn around and check the desk on the left side of the room. A sticky note should be visible here, containing the last two digits needed to complete the six-digit vault code.
3. Assembling and Entering the Code
Once you’ve gathered the notes from these locations, you’ll have a full six-digit code. The order of the numbers on the notes indicates the sequence for entering them into the vault. With the code in hand, go back to the Savings & Loan bank vault and interact with the door to enter the code. If you’ve entered it correctly, the vault door will partially open.
4. Accessing the Vault’s Contents
After successfully entering the code, interact with the door again to fully open the vault. Inside, you’ll find rows of safe deposit boxes that can be unlocked for rewards. Some of these boxes may require Loot Keys, which are dropped by elite zombies throughout the game. These keys vary in rarity, and higher-tier keys yield better rewards when used on the deposit boxes.
Once inside, you’ll have a limited amount of time (around 45 seconds) to gather loot before the vault locks again. Additionally, this cooldown period prevents immediate re-entry, so plan your actions inside carefully.
Tips for Survival
Opening the vault can provide a strategic advantage, offering powerful gear to help you progress in the game. However, keep in mind that zombies can still interrupt you while gathering the notes or during your journey to the vault, so always be prepared for sudden encounters. Some players find it helpful to clear out nearby zombies before attempting to enter the vault, allowing for a few moments of calm while gathering loot.
