Rebuilding the Pokémon Center in Pokopia is one of the most important milestones in the early progression of the game. At first, the building appears as a pile of ruins, and many players are unsure how to restore it. However, once you understand the required steps, the process becomes straightforward and rewarding.

Unlock The Pokémon Center Rebuild Request
Before you can start rebuilding the Pokémon Center, you must unlock the request that allows you to repair it. This is tied to your early base building progress in the game.
The first step is building your initial home structure known as the Love Den. Once the Leaf Den is built, you must decorate its interior using at least three pieces of furniture. After completing the decoration, speak to Charmander and escort them to Professor Tangrowth.
This interaction triggers a short scene and rewards you with the Ditto Flag. You must then place this flag on or near your Leaf Den. Placing the flag officially registers your home base and unlocks the next stage of the story.
Once this is done, Professor Tangrowth will introduce the task of rebuilding the Pokémon Center.
Raise Your Environment Level
The rebuilding kit for the Pokémon Center will not appear immediately. To unlock it, your settlement must reach Environment Level 3.
Environment level represents the development of your area and increases as you expand your settlement and improve living conditions for Pokémon.
You can raise this level by:
Building new habitats
Improving the comfort level of befriended Pokémon
Completing challenges and requests
Placing decorations and structures in the environment

After buying the rebuilding kit from the shop, it is automatically placed in front of the ruined Pokémon Center. This kit acts as the construction station where you deposit materials and gather Pokémon helpers.
When you interact with the kit, it will display the list of required resources and Pokémon specialties needed to complete the rebuild.
At this point, the real construction preparation begins.
Collect The Required Materials
Rebuilding the Pokémon Center requires several crafting materials that can be gathered while exploring the area. These materials are commonly found in the environment, although some require Pokémon assistance to process.
The materials needed are:
20 Lumber
20 Stone
10 Leaves
10 Vine Ropes
Stone and leaves are usually easy to find scattered across the environment. Vine ropes may require crafting from natural resources.
Lumber is the only material that requires extra steps. You must have a Pokémon with the Chop specialty to convert small logs into lumber. One of the earliest Pokémon capable of doing this is Scyther.
After befriending a suitable Pokémon, you can ask them to process logs into the lumber needed for construction.
Gather The Required Pokémon
Materials alone are not enough to rebuild the Pokémon Center. The construction project also requires help from several Pokémon with specific abilities.
In total, you need eight Pokémon to begin the rebuild.
The required specialties include:
1 Pokémon with the Build specialty
1 Pokémon with the Bulldoze specialty
1 Pokémon with the Chop specialty
5 additional Pokémon matching the silhouettes shown at the construction site
To bring Pokémon to the site, simply speak to them and ask them to follow you. Then guide them to the Pokémon Center ruins where the rebuilding kit is located.
One important requirement is Onyxwhich becomes available after completing a story event where you rescue it. If you have not completed this part of the story yet, the rebuild cannot start.
Start The Construction Process
Once you have deposited all materials and gathered the required Pokémon, you can initiate the rebuilding process.
The Pokémon will begin working together to restore the structure. However, the construction does not finish instantly. Instead, the game uses a real-world timer to simulate the building process.
Typically, the Pokémon Center will be completed the next real-world day after construction begins.
If you prefer not to wait, some players choose to adjust their system clock to the next day to finish the rebuild immediately.
After the timer finishes, return to the construction site to watch the completion scene and officially unlock the restored Pokémon Center.
