Hrithik Roshan in talks to replace Ranveer Singh as new face of ‘Don’ franchise?
Ranveer Singh’s unexpected exit from Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 has paved the way for other actors to fill Shah Rukh Khan’s shoes as the main lead.
The Bajirao Mastani actor, currently basking in the success of Dhurandharhas reportedly stepped away from the franchise.
Ranveer is currently gearing up for his upcoming project Pralay and is adamant about staying away from yet another gangster film.
According to sources close to the development, Hrithik Roshan is in talks to replace Shah Rukh Khan, who ruled the franchise from 2006 to 2011.
Reports suggest that the producers are planning to rope in someone with established star power as the new face of the legacy.
Given Farhan and Hrithik’s history after collaborating on the highly successful film Zindagi Na Megligi Dobara, this would be a much-awaited reunion.
For those unaware, Hrithik made a cameo appearance in Don 2, portraying a scene in which SRK’s character impersonates Hrithik in an intimate dance sequence with co-star Priyanka Chopra.
While other details are still under wraps, Hrithik appears to be the strongest contender for the role.
