Former AAP leader, Harvinder Singh Phoolka joins BJP

New Delhi, exposed: Former AAP leader Harvinder Singh Phoolka (HS Phoolka) formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi on Wednesday. During this, many senior leaders including Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Delhi Cabinet Minister Majinder Singh Sirsa and National General Secretary of the party Tarun Chugh were present.

After joining BJP, Phoolka said that he has been fighting for justice for the 1984 riot victims for the last four decades and during this time he has received continuous support from BJP. He told that he has also worked in many legal cases for the party. He also clarified that even though he was associated with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from 2014 to 2017, his ideological inclination was always towards Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Expressing concern over the current situation in Punjab, Phoolka said that the law and order situation in the state is not good and extortion, drug addiction and other problems are continuously increasing. He alleged that the government is not serious about these issues. For this reason, he has once again decided to return to active politics and he believes that BJP is the most suitable platform to work in the interest of Punjab.
