Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 launched with 33 hours of battery life and IP54 rating

Huawei FreeBuds ProTech News: Huawei has introduced new FreeBuds Pro 4 TWS earbuds along with tablets, smartphones, smartwatches at an event in China. This is the company's first TWS product with HarmonyOS NEXT. It has Kirin A2 chip. The TWS earbuds feature super-sensing dual drivers. These have ultra-immersive spatial audio and support AI noise cancellation. The company claims that when fully charged from the case, it can provide up to 33 hours of battery backup. Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 has been launched in China for 1,499 CNY (about Rs 17,500). The TWS earbuds are available for pre-order in China in Obsidian Black, Snow White, and Spruce Green colors. Their sale will start from December 4.

Specifications, features of Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 is the company's first TWS earbuds that come with HarmonyOS NEXT. They support 2.3Mbps transmission and 48kHz/24bit lossless audio. These earbuds feature 11mm four-magnet dynamic drivers with micro-planar tweeters, as well as digital frequency division technology, dynamic EQ, and active noise cancellation for better sound quality. They support various codecs like SBC, AAC, L2HC 4.0 and LDAC for better connectivity with multiple devices. Each earbud weighs only 5.8 grams. They are IP54 rated.

FreeBuds Pro 4 is equipped with four microphones and a reverse bone conduction pickup microphone, which enhances sound pickup and eliminates background noise. The AI ​​noise isolation algorithm is claimed to be better than that of the FreeBuds Pro 3, providing 100 dB call noise cancellation and wind noise elimination at speeds up to 10 m/s.

The earbuds claim to offer up to 6.5 hours of battery life on a single charge (4.5 hours with ANC). Each earbud has a 55mAh battery, with the charging case housing a 510mAh battery. They claim to deliver up to 33 hours of total playback without ANC and up to 23 hours of playback with ANC. The case measures 46.9 × 65.9 × 24.5 mm and weighs 47 grams.
