Huawei Pura 80 Ultra becomes camera king, leaving iPhone behind

Today, while buying a smartphone, the camera feature attracts the most attention. Earlier, DSLR cameras were considered essential for photography, but now smartphone companies have reduced this gap to a great extent. The common belief was that if someone wants great photos then iPhone is the best option, but the recent DXOMARK report has challenged this.

Huawei Pura 80 Ultra on top

iPhone did not get the first place in the list of world’s top camera smartphones, but a brand came forward which is leaving other giants behind in terms of technology. Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is at the top of this list. According to DXOMARK, this phone has proved to be the most capable smartphone in photography. Its 50-megapixel primary camera comes with a 1-inch sensor and has a variable aperture that handles light and depth in DSLR-like quality. Apart from this, the 40 megapixel ultra-wide camera and dual periscope telephoto system provides 3.7x and 9.4x optical zoom, due to which this phone can compete in professional photography also.

Vivo X300 Pro at second place

There is no iPhone even in second and third place. At number two is Vivo X300 Pro, which has a triple rear camera system with Zeiss tuning. Its 200 megapixel periscope telephoto lens comes with 100x digital and 3.7x optical zoom. Vivo has also provided telephoto extender accessory to make it even better. At the third place is Oppo Find X8 Ultra, which has a camera setup with five sensors. It has two periscope lenses (3x and 6x) and a separate chroma sensor, which ensures color accuracy.

iPhone 17 Pro is in fourth place. It has a 48-megapixel triple camera and 5x telephoto zoom. iPhone still leads the industry in terms of video recording, but lags behind Huawei, Vivo and Oppo in terms of sensor size and optical zoom. Its starting price in India is Rs 1,34,900.

At fifth place is Vivo X200 Ultra, which has a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 telephoto sensor and Sony LYT-818 sensor for better performance in low light. It also has gimbal stabilization. Overall, this list shows that now in mobile photography, it is not just the brand name but technical innovation, sensor size and zoom capabilities that matter most.
