Humayun Kabir laid the foundation of Babri Masjid in Bengal, said – No one can remove even a single brick of it…

Murshidabad: Suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Humayun Kabir on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the construction of Babri Masjid in Murshidabad. He said that no one can remove even a single brick of Babri Masjid, because 37 percent Muslim population of Bengal will rebuild it at any cost. Emphasizing the rights of the Constitution, Kabir said that just like building a temple or a church, building a mosque is also their right. Addressing the gathering, Kabir said that I am not doing anything unconstitutional. Anyone can build a temple, anyone can build a church, I will build a mosque.

‘Whoever has Allah with him, no one can stop him’

Humayun Kabir said that it is being said that we cannot build Babri Masjid. It is not written like this anywhere. The Supreme Court had ruled that Hindus had demolished the Babri Masjid. Keeping in mind the sentiments of Hindus, it was decided to build a temple there. Now we are seeing that someone is laying the foundation of Ram temple in Sagardighi also. But the Constitution allows us to build a mosque. On legal challenges, Kabir said that these cannot stop him. He stressed, ‘5 cases have been registered against me, but no one can stop the one who has Allah with him. The court has also clearly said that it is written in the Constitution of India that anyone can build a mosque, it is a right.

‘If anyone has courage, then come to Murshidabad and show it’

Humayun Kabir said that there are 4 crore Muslims in Bengal. Don’t they have the right to build Babri Masjid? I have received threats, including from the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. If anyone has courage, then come to Murshidabad and show it. A budget of Rs 300 crore has been kept for the mosque, which will also include hospital, guesthouse and meeting hall. This is the promise of Muslims, Babri Masjid will be built, will be built, will be built. On the other hand, BJP accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of deliberately promoting religious polarization in the state. BJP said that this step is not religious but political and Mamata Banerjee’s silence may increase the risk of instability in the state.
