Material

  • Cooked rice – 1 cup
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Mustard seeds-1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – 1/2 cup
  • Whole red chilli – 1
  • Turmeric – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Green Coriander – 2 tbsp
  • Peanuts – 2 tbsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tsp
  • Chana dal 1 tsp
  • Ginger 1/2 tsp

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  • Now add asafoetida, curry leaves, ginger, red chilli, gram dal and urad dal. Fry them well.
  • When the grains start crackling, add rice along with peanuts and turmeric. Mix rice well in this.
  • Add salt and lemon juice to the rice and mix well.
  • Serve it hot with pickle, chutney, raita or salad.

egg curry

Everyone likes eggs and Andakari is a very easy to prepare, healthy and tasty dish. Here we are telling you a simple recipe of egg curry, which your husband can easily make.

Material

  • Eggs- 4
  • Onion- 2
  • Garlic-1 whole
  • Tomato- 2
  • Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
  • Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Mustard oil- 2 tbsp

Method

  • Put water in a vessel and put it on gas. Put all the eggs in it and boil them. The eggs will boil within 10 minutes.
  • Cool them and remove the peel.
  • Now put some oil in a pan. When the oil becomes hot, fry the eggs until they turn golden brown.
  • Prepare a paste by putting onion and garlic in a mixer.
  • Put onion and garlic paste in the pan and fry.
  • After this, add all the spices to the paste and mix well.
  • Make tomato paste in the mixer and keep mixing it with the spices. When the spices turn golden brown and start releasing oil from the pan, then understand that the spices have been roasted well.
  • Now add fried eggs into it. To make gravy, add a glass of water to it. Cover it and let it boil for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish it with green chillies and coriander leaves and enjoy it hot.

Material

  • Boiled potatoes (chopped) – 2 cups
  • Tomato finely chopped – 1
  • Ginger-green chilli paste – 2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste

Method

  • Put oil in the pan and heat it on medium flame.
  • When the oil becomes hot, add cumin, green chilli and ginger paste and mix well.
  • Now put the boiled potato pieces in the pan and fry them well for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes, salt as per taste and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and fry the vegetables while stirring.
  • After 1 minute, add water to the vegetable and let the vegetable cook on medium flame.
  • Let the vegetables cook for a few more minutes.
  • Garnish it by adding green coriander leaves on top.

Fried Rice Recipe

Fried rice is a quick dish to prepare, which everyone likes these days. You can make this easily. If you like egg or chicken then you can also make egg fried rice or chicken fried rice from it and if you do not eat non-veg, then you can also try vegetable and paneer fried rice.

Rice- 2 cups
Soya sauce- 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Onion-1
Cabbage- 1/4 cup
Capsicum, Carrot – 1/2 cup

Method

  • boil and cool rice
  • Put a tablespoon of oil in a pan, add onion and fry it.
  • Now add all the vegetables to it and let it cook for a while.
  • Now add rice and stir a little.
  • Add soy sauce and a little black pepper and continue stirring for 2 more minutes.
  • Enjoy hot fried rice with Schezwan chutney.

Chicken Curry

Chicken – ½ kg
Onion- 2
Garlic- 8 to 10 cloves
Ginger – a small piece
Tomato-2
Green chilli- 2
Ground coriander – 1 tsp
Red chilli – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
Chicken masala- 1 tsp
Salt- as per taste

Method

  • First of all wash the chicken thoroughly.
  • Now make paste of onion, garlic, ginger and tomato.
  • Mix all the spices in this paste.
  • Now add chicken to it and mix well and leave it for half an hour.
  • Pour oil in a pan, put the chicken in it and let it cook on low flame for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • When the chicken is cooked well and some oil starts appearing, add 1 to ½ cup water in it and let it boil.
  • Turn off the gas after 15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle green coriander on top and serve chicken curry with roti or rice.
