Hyderabad: Man dies of cardiac arrest in cinema hall while watching Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu

Hyderabad: A movie outing ended in tragedy after a man died while watching a film at a cinema hall in Kukatpally on Monday. He is suspected to have died of a cardiac arrest.
The incident took place at Arjun Theatre during a screening of Mana Shankaravaraprasad Garu, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi.
The victim, identified as Anand Kumar, a retired Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the 12th Battalion, had come to the movie theatre to watch the 11.30 am show. Midway through the movie, he suddenly collapsed in his seat, causing panic among fellow viewers.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Medical professionals suspect a fatal cardiac arrest as the cause of the death.
The Kukatpally police visited the theatre, gathered preliminary information and took up investigation. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after medical examination, they said.
