Hyderabadis adopting shared responsibilities

Hyderabad Hyderabad: A survey conducted by online dating and networking platform Bumble has revealed that 8 out of 10 (88 per cent) people in Hyderabad believe that equal contribution from their partner is important while planning the festive season, which Reflects a modern view of romance based on cooperation. According to the survey, women have traditionally led festive planning in India, but attitudes are changing. 53 per cent of Hyderabadi people surveyed like the possibility of both partners contributing equally to festive season activities, 56 per cent consider it a way to bond and 30 per cent are ready to contribute equally, believing that Some adjustments may be necessary during this time. Pracheta Majumdar, Bumble's senior marketing manager in India, said: “As the festive season approaches, shared responsibilities in relationships are becoming increasingly important.”
