Hyundai Adds New Colour And A Gaudy Looking Spoiler To The Verna

Hyundai has updated the Verna and given it a little price increase. The Verna receives a new colour and also a rear spoiler. Hyundai has increased the price of the Verna by Rs 4,000 across variants except the base EX variant. The Verna still starts from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai has also given it a new Amazon Grey colour and Hyundai has added a new rear spoiler to the vehicle. The spoiler is a hit or miss as it looks something out of the books of the aftermarket industry. We are not fans of the rear spoiler and it is not body coloured which makes things even worse until you are getting a black car.

The Verna remains the same mechanically, and gets the same 1.5L NA petrol engine as the base engine. It produces 115 bhp and 143.8 Nm of torque. This engine is paired to either a 6-speed manual or an IVT. The other engine options is the 1.5L turbo petrol which produces 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. It is paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

The Verna is loaded to the gills with features and comes with ADAS Level 2, heated and ventilated seats, LED headlights, a sunroof, alloy wheels, all four disc brakes, a digital drivers display and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
