Upcoming Hyundai Cars India: Hyundai Motor India has launched its new Hyundai Exter 2026 in India. This is the company’s compact SUV, which is considered to be a direct competitor to Tata Punch.
This time the company has made 25 major changes in the car, which are related to design, technology, comfort and safety. Since its first launch in 2023, 2 lakh units of this car have been sold so far, and now with the new update the company is targeting new customers.

Hyundai Exter 2026 is offered in manual, petrol AMT and CNG options.

Exterior and interior: more stylish than ever

The look of the new Exter has now become even bolder and premium. It has a new front design, updated grille, revised bumper and diamond cut alloy wheels. Also, the new wing-type spoiler, updated tailgate and revised C-pillar give it an SUV look.

The interiors get a dual tone navy-grey theme, 3D carbon pattern dashboard and a sporty D-cut steering wheel. Apart from this, the cabin has become even more premium with folding armrest and new seat upholstery.

Tremendous upgrade in safety

A total of 45 safety features have been provided in this car, out of which 30 features are standard. That means strong security is available even in the base variant. The car includes important features like 6 airbags, electronic stability control and hill start assist, which make it stronger in this segment.

Engine and Performance

Hyundai Exter 2026 has a 1.2 liter Kappa petrol engine. This engine comes with both manual and AMT transmission. The company claims that this is the only SUV in its segment, which has a 4-cylinder engine. Apart from this, dual CNG cylinder setup is also provided in it, which is useful for better mileage.
