Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition Launched At Rs 7.09 Lakh
Hyundai India has launched a new edition of its popular hatchback Grand i10 Nios in India. It is called the Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition, and it is a more sporty version which gets a number of exclusive design elements, including black interior, sporty red accents, new alloy wheels, and other updates. This new Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition has been launched with a price tag of Rs 7.09 lakh.
Starting off with the pricing, the Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition, which is based on the Sportz variant, has been launched at Rs 7,09,400 lakh for the Sportz MT variant. The Sportz AMT Vibe Edition variant has been priced at Rs 7,61,400 lakh. Lastly, the Sportz (O) AMT Vibe Edition has been priced at Rs 7,73,400. Hyundai has also launched the Asta variant of this hatchback at Rs 7,50,700 for MT variant and Rs 8,02,600 for the AMT gearbox.
In terms of the main highlights, the new Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition comes offered with new 15-inch alloy wheels finished in black and projector headlights. Apart from these, it also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, cruise control, and automatic climate control with rear AC vents.
It also gets 6 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, and a factory-fitted dashcam offering multiple recording modes. The Sportz (O) variant also gets push-button start as well. As for the powertrain options, they have been kept the same. The Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition comes powered by the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine. It produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm torque. As for the gearbox, it gets 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes.
Commenting on the launch of VIBE edition variants of the Grand i10 NIOS, Amit Dhaundiyal, Head, Product Strategy & Planning, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “At Hyundai Motor India Limited, we are constantly evolving our product offerings to align with the aspirations of our customers. Apart from the Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition, Hyundai also launched the Creta Summer Edition in India. This new edition has been launched at Rs 12.05 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.88 lakh. Hyundai, instead of reducing the price of its base and mid variants to compete with new rivals, is now offering more premium features to make sure that it remains a dominant player in the market.
The premium features trickled down from SX and SX Premium include smart key with push-button start, rear camera, rear window sunshades, full LED lighting package, 16-inch styled wheels, and a factory-fitted dashcam. Also, the higher variants get features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera (Surround View Monitor), Blind View Monitor, and front parking sensors. It has to be noted that mechanically, the Creta remains identical, and there have been no exterior design changes as well.
