Hyundai Motor India has announced a price hike for its compact SUV Hyundai Venue. The prices of select variants in both petrol and diesel models have been hiked by Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000. After this change, the Venue is now priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV was launched in India in November 2025. Let’s know about the price of this car.

Petrol variant prices

The HX5 trim with the 1.2-litre petrol engine has seen the biggest increase. The price of this variant has now been increased to Rs 9.55 lakh from Rs 9.35 lakh earlier. The price of the cheapest HX2 variant remains unchanged and still stands at Rs 8.00 lakh. The prices of the top variants HX+5 (Rs 9.99 lakh) and HX6T (Rs 10.80 lakh) have also remained unchanged.

According to media reports, the prices of sporty variants like N6 (Rs 10.65 lakh) and N10 DCT (Rs 15.40 lakh) have also not been changed.

New prices of diesel variant

Most of the diesel variants have seen a price hike of around Rs 8,000. Accordingly, the HX2 is now priced at Rs 9.87 lakh, HX5 at Rs 10.87 lakh, HX5 AT at Rs 11.81 lakh and HX7 at Rs 12.69 lakh. The prices of the top variants HX8 AT (Rs 13.69 lakh) and HX10 AT (Rs 15.51 lakh) remain unchanged.

Impact on consumers

The price hike comes at a time when the sub-4 meter SUV segment is facing stiff competition from models like Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Maruti Brezza. The base variants are still an attractive option for budget conscious customers.

However, the mid-spec diesel and turbo-DCT options of the Venue are now more expensive than before. All above prices are ex-showroom, on-road prices may vary from city to city due to taxes and insurance.
