Hyundai Upcoming Cars 2026–2030: 26 New Models & Hybrid Engines Along with Creta & i20 Coming Soon
Hyundai New Model Launch India: South Korean giant Hyundai Motors, which rules Indian roads, has created a major stir in the automobile world. The company has shared its mega vision for the year 2030, under which 20 petrol-diesel and 6 exciting electric vehicles will be launched in the Indian market. According to media reports, Hyundai’s best-selling mid-size SUV, the Creta, and premium hatchback, the i20, will be introduced in completely new next-generation avatars between 2026 and 2027.
New-Generation Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta has been India’s most popular SUV, and now its next version is set to be even larger and more powerful. The next-generation Creta will be built on Hyundai’s new K3 platform, making it slightly larger and more spacious than the current model. Its design will be even bolder and more straightforward, giving it the strong road presence of a true SUV.
On the engine front, the 2026 Hyundai Creta will continue to offer the existing 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter diesel, and powerful 1.5-liter turbo-petrol options. However, the biggest surprise will be the introduction of a powerful hybrid engine, which will provide both speed and incredible mileage. It is believed that Hyundai will integrate its petrol engine with hybrid technology, which will reduce pollution and increase customer savings.
New-Generation Hyundai i20
The Hyundai i20, which has established its dominance in the premium hatchback segment, is also set to undergo major changes. The company is focusing heavily on a cosmetic makeover for the new i20, expected to arrive by 2027. Its exterior will be based on Hyundai’s global design language, giving it a sportier and more modern look. Inside, the cabin will also experience a completely new experience, with a new dashboard layout and premium leather upholstery.

In terms of safety, Hyundai is expected to include advanced features like a 360-degree camera and Level 1 ADAS, which would be a significant advancement in this segment. Power will be provided by a reliable 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a manual and smooth CVT automatic gearbox.
Hyundai’s Big Roadmap
Hyundai isn’t limited to petrol and diesel; the company aims to launch six new powerful electric vehicles in India by 2030. These will range from affordable electric cars to luxury and high-end SUVs with long-range on a single charge. Hyundai will also periodically refresh its existing portfolio with mid-life updates and generational changes.
Given the increasing competition, Hyundai’s aggressive approach clearly demonstrates its desire to further strengthen its foothold in the Indian market. This Vision 2030 of the company will not only bring new technology but will also give a completely new and safe driving experience to the Indian customers.
