I am able to express myself more openly than before: Ananya Pandey

Actress Ananya Panday, recalling her early days in the film industry, said she has started expressing her views and opinions more openly than before.

Ananya Pandey said, “I have started speaking more openly about my thoughts and my values. This inspires me to move forward. Now I can really bring about change through my voice.” Ananya Pandey said, “If any girl gets inspired by her and accepts herself, then it will be the biggest success for her.”

Ananya made her debut in 2019 with “Student of the Year 2” and her most recent work is “Call Me Bae”. She emphasized on the need to create a supportive environment for her co-workers and shared her thoughts on the power of friendship in the glamour world.

The actress said, “People often try to pit women against each other. But with Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, I have tried to prove that women can also be true friends. We openly come forward and talk in support of each other.”

Launched in 2022, “Maitri: Female First Collective” is an initiative that aims to create a safe space for women in Indian media and entertainment. Talking about her upcoming films, Ananya will next be seen in Vikramaditya Motwane's thriller film “CTRL”. The actress will play a content creator in the upcoming streaming thriller.

This project is Ananya's second film after 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan', which explores the digital space affecting lifestyle. In “CTRL”, the actress plays a romantic couple with Vihaan Samat, who create content on social media. The film raises questions about the current dependence on technology and the digital revolution.
