TMC chief Mamata Banerjee said in the protest march taken out regarding the Baruipur rape-murder case, ‘I just want to say that do not defame the name of Ram. When the High Court had given permission for the rally, then why did the police do this? I am not blaming BJP, I hold the police and administration responsible. It was his moral responsibility to allow the rally to take place peacefully. What did they do? BJP people were allowed to set up tents, stage and set up mics. Our hand mic was taken away, even though the High Court had clearly given permission for hand mic.
