‘I begged but…’, big revelation in Rajpal Yadav case, what did the businessman who gave Rs 5 crore say while crying?
Delhi High Court has granted interim bail to actor Rajpal Yadav in the check bounce case. Meanwhile, Madhav Gopal Aggarwal, owner of Murali Projects Private Limited, the company suing Rajpal Yadav, has come in front of the media for the first time and presented his side. He revealed in an interview given to the media that in 2010, on the request of MP Mithilesh Kumar Katheria, he had given Rs 5 crore to Rajpal Yadav for the film ‘Ata Pata Lapata’. Madhav Gopal Aggarwal claimed that Rajpal Yadav had given personal guarantee and supplementary agreements were made several times, but the money was not returned.
Madhav Gopal Aggarwal told that initially he had refused to give the money, but due to the message and emotional pressure of Rajpal Yadav’s wife Radha Yadav, he gave the amount. After the film flopped and the check bounced, the matter reached the court, where a settlement of Rs 10.40 crore was made, but that too was not completed. Now Madhav Gopal Aggarwal said that Rajpal Yadav going to jail did not make him proud, he only wanted his money.

Madhav Gopal Aggarwal told in an interview given to the media that Rajpal Yadav had come to meet him through MP Mithilesh Kumar Katheria. He had said that our film ‘Aata Pata Lapata’ has become so much and if we do not get some money now, we will be ruined. At first Madhav Gopal Aggarwal had refused to give the money. However, after refusing, Rajpal Yadav’s wife Radha Yadav started messaging him. In such a situation, he came under emotional pressure and gave the money to Rajpal Yadav.
What was written on the agreement?
Madhav Gopal Aggarwal says that it is clearly written in the agreement that whether the film runs or not, whether it gets certificate from the censor board or not, whether a storm comes or not, we will have nothing to do with it. You will return the fixed amount to us on time.
Personal Guarantee: Madhav Gopal Aggarwal said that while signing the agreement, he had also given a personal guarantee. I am telling all this because we read in many places that Rajpal Yadav is saying that we had invested. When investing, personal guarantee and checks are not given.
How many times are supplementary agreements made?

According to the agreement, Rajpal Yadav had to give the negatives and money of the film to Madhav Gopal Aggarwal after the film was made. In such a situation, Madhav Gopal Aggarwal approached the court and the release of the film was banned. Rajpal Yadav said that he will not be able to pay the money until the film is released. Then Madhav Gopal Aggarwal made a settlement and got the ban on the release of the film removed. However, the film failed at the box office.

Madhav Gopal Aggarwal said- Initially when the matter did not go to the court, I had also gone to his house. Twice I have cried like a child in front of them because we are neither such big people nor rich. We helped him thinking that he is an actor and would get money. I pleaded that I will make a supplementary agreement for whatever date you say. I have also taken money from people and given it to you. He said every time that this time the checks will not bounce.
Reacted when Rajpal Yadav went to jail
Madhav Gopal Aggarwal said – We did not feel proud after Rajpal Yadav went to jail. This is our business. We need money. Now there is that court process so nothing can be done.
