Recently, in a podcast called “Not Skinny But Not Fat”, Priyanka Chopra explained why she decided to quit Bollywood when she was at the peak of her career. When asked if she had a tough time in Bollywood during that time, the actress said, “I don’t like living in dirt, because I get used to the smell.” She also added, “Everybody faces difficulties in life. But when things get tough, you have to pick yourself up. Feel the pain, cry, but then it’s important to change direction. I’ve done that many times in my career.”
Priyanka further stated that there was no clear path for her to make it to Hollywood. She said, “I just tried. I knew I was hardworking and I knew my work. I could stand up to any director or co-star with confidence. That’s why I went out there and started working.”
