‘I had already warned Kejriwal’, the explosive revelation of the MP who left AAP and joined BJP, due to this there was a big rift in the party.

New Delhi: The biggest rebellion so far in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has shaken the politics from Delhi to Punjab. Rajya Sabha MP Vikram Sahni, who left AAP and joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has now made a revelation which has raised questions on Arvind Kejriwal’s strategies. Sahni claims that the script of this mass resignation and breakup had been written long ago and he himself had warned Kejriwal about it.

“Given direct warning to Kejriwal”

Vikram Sahni told that he had met Arvind Kejriwal before joining BJP. According to Sahni, he had warned Kejriwal in clear words that if even one or two MPs leave the party, it will not be difficult to gather the two-third majority figure and the party will fall apart like a pack of cards. Sahni said a shocking thing in an interview given to NDTV that Kejriwal did not have even an iota of confidence that Sandeep Pathak, considered the Chanakya of the organization, could ever leave him. Sahni said that when he saw that stalwarts like Sandeep Pathak were leaving the party, he also decided to join BJP for the rights of Punjab.

Raghav Chaddha’s ignorance became the fire of rebellion

While talking to PTI, Sahni told the real reason for the displeasure of the MPs. He said that leaders like Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak, who led the party to a historic victory in the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections, had been sidelined for some time. After the defeat in the Delhi elections, a new team took charge, which started sidelining the old and loyal veterans. The biggest shock came when Raghav Chadha was removed from the post of deputy leader. According to Sahni, this behavior created insecurity in the minds of MPs that they would no longer be able to serve Punjab on their own terms.

Swati Maliwal’s pain spills over: ‘Now that Kejriwal is no more’

Swati Maliwal’s name is also included in this list of rebellion. Making serious allegations against Arvind Kejriwal, he said that the Aam Aadmi Party has completely deviated from its basic principles. Maliwal said that Kejriwal is no longer the leader he used to be during the Anna movement. Recalling the incident of assault, he emotionally said that the party for which he risked his career and spent seven years in the slums, kept silence on the injustice done to him. Maliwal has now pledged to work under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sanjay Singh’s counterattack: ‘Traitors will be punished’

Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh has given a sharp reaction to this mass rebellion of MPs. He lashed out at the rebels, calling them ‘traitors’ and said that membership of all the MPs who left the party would be cancelled. Singh warned that those who betray democracy will get severe punishment. However, now after Raghav Chadha and Swati Maliwal joining BJP, it has become a big challenge for AAP to save its ground.
