At the time, many reports said that Samuthirakani was criticising Vijay for his recent public appearance with Trisha at a marriage function. “If something like this happens, it should remain within four walls,” the actor-director reportedly said about the superstar’s alleged relationship with his longtime co-star. The actor-filmmaker was recently asked about the veracity of the clip, and he confirmed it without mentioning Vijay or Trisha.
Speaking to Galatta TamilSamuthirakani was asked if he feels conscious as a celebrity as people record and leak private conversations, without actors such as him not even knowing about it. In his response, the filmmaker-actor said that he was aware that a person was recording his private conversation. He acknowledged that it was leaked online and said that he only spoke from a place of pain and concern.
